The Benefits of ETC Community Membership

The ETC Community strengthens its membership through both the structured and informal sharing of information, as well as by reinforcing the collaborative work of the ETC Community. Benefits include:

•Member-to-member communications and access through e-Communities with online discussion groups/listserv.

•ETC's annual conference—this field's largest and only meeting devoted to the issues of affinity and educational travel.

•Posting of announcements and jobs and access to search these listings.

•Creation of organizational profiles establishing the foundation of a sophisticated networking resource for the Community.

•The Conference Resource Directory profiling a list of the membership community and key program features of non profit travel programs and travel companies, suppliers and destinations.

•Professional development programs for Educational Travel Planners.

•Access to members-only web features such as publications, specialty research, and white papers produced for and within this niche market.

•Conference recorded sessions and handouts.

•Access to ETC's Store for purchasing educational travel CDs.

 •A periodic e-newsletter highlighting member travel writing and informational pieces, research, and other timely articles relevant to the ETC Community.

 

There are two ways to become an ETC Member:

Conference Registration: If you register for the annual Educational Travel Conference, you will receive a complimentary 1-year ETC membership. Click here to register for the 2010 Educational Travel Conference.

Virtual Member Registration: If you are not attending ETC 2010 and want to become a 1-year Virtual Member, the cost for travel planners is $175 and $475 for Destinations, Operators, and Suppliers. For Virtual Member Registration click here.
