Weather

One of Orlando's biggest draws is the year-round sunny, mild weather. In keeping with its moniker, the "Sunshine State," central Florida maintains a comfortable average annual temperature of 72 degrees and a mostly dry climate from October to May. The winter months of December, January, and February generally provide the most pleasant temperatures in the Orlando area. Humidity can still be on the higher side and rainfall is at a minimum. Check Orlando’s weather forecast online before you leave for ETC 2012. Even if it’s warm during the day, nighttime temperatures can be chilly. When traveling to Orlando, it's always a good idea to pack a light jacket.

The following are "average" January temperatures for Orlando and have been known to vary a good bit in either direction:
  • High temperature: 70.8°F
  • Low temperature: 48.6°F
  • Precipitation: 2.30%
  • Humidity (1pm): 56%
