The International Bazaar
All ETC 2013 International Bazaar Floor Space SOLD OUT
The International Bazaar operates as the "networking hub" of ETC. Here networking lounges are situated, morning and afternoon refreshment breaks are served, the complimentary cappuccino bar is operating, and refreshment tables featuring international cuisine are available. The International Bazaar is also the exhibition space for tour operators, destinations, and travel suppliers as well as the festive promotional exhibits of the official Conference Partners on the centrally located Partners' Boulevard. With scheduled opening times daily (which do not conflict with educational sessions), the International Bazaar is simply the best opportunity to review, connect and compare educational travel offerings with the most diverse selection of special interest, educational and affinity based purveyors of travel in one place, under one roof, and at one time—exclusively for ETC.
Watch this 2-minute video to hear more about the value of ETC's International Bazaar.
Visiting the International Bazaar is the most cost-efficient venue for targeting new products, securing destination information and meeting the "who's who" of special interest travel. The level of expertise and targeted resources available to the educational travel planner are unmatched in the field of educational travel!
The officially scheduled times to visit the International Bazaar will be clearly marked in the ETC Conference Resource Directory and BiZ Passport (provided to delegates on site). As there are no educational sessions scheduled during the International Bazaar hours, this is time for Community Connect meetings—to introduce yourself to perspective partners—attend Destination Huddles to glean timely updates on specificl global regions—and independently tour this rich resource center. As travel planners expect to speak with delegates associated with desktop displays, it is mandatory for all exhibitors to be physically present at all officially scheduled networking times in the International Bazaar.
All delegates should make the most of their time in the International Bazaar by preparing in advance of the Conference. Start by reviewing the organizational mini-profiles featured online about two weeks prior to the annual Conference. After reviewing the mini-profiles, identify key individuals/ companies you need to meet—and let them know you wish to see them during the one hour Community Connect meetings time or during the additional free hour in the International Bazaar. You will undoubtedly find even more representatives and companies to visit with on site than you had originally planned!
